No. You cannot microwave Yeti or other stainless steel coffee cups.
Yeti drinking sets, including cups, glasses, jugs, and bottles, are made of premium 18/8 stainless steel. Steel, like aluminum or any other conductive metal, does not mix well with radiation emitted by microwaves.

Without getting into a lot of scientific detail, microwaves basically work by sending energy bolts to an object that speeds up the vibrations of the molecules within it.
As the molecules continue to vibrate at a faster rate, they create friction, which turns into heat, raising the temperature of the objects inside.
Our stainless steel tumblers are also not suitable to be put into a microwave.
