From our experience, maybe you need about 0.38 ounces or 10.6 g of beans per cup. That's the equivalent of about two tablespoons of ground coffee, which is more or less the standard amount for making a cup of coffee.
You should only use filtered water. The filtered water has no mineral flavor, which is usually the case if you use tap water. The right temperature is essential, ideally about 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit, because too hot water will scorch the beans. Too hot a temperature can lead to bitter, acidic, and pungent flavors.
And we suggest the 8.5cm height coffee cup to suit the coffee machine, then you don't need to change to another tumbler to drink outside. It also has a leak-proof lid.
